The composition is in A minor, Tempo di Mazurka. The almost relentless dancing pace, the predominance of minor tonalities and the repeated figure at the cello part define the feeling of ‘determination' in this music. At the same time, the chromatic details reveal its anxious and unstable property. Advanced level of difficulty.
